    • Founded Eclesia Gnostica Alba (EGA, White Gnostic Church) in 1986. (disbanded in 1996).
    • Created Excalibur system for creation of individual reality in 1991. (Slavinski considered this system to be the first system of what he later called “Spiritual Technology”.)
    • Created the PEAT system in 1999.
    • Created “The Escape from the Matrix” (his last system) in 2012
    • Died 5 of February 2022

    Early Life and Education

    Born on December 4, 1937, Zivorad Mihajlovic Slavinski grew up with a profound interest in the human mind and spirituality. He pursued a degree in psychology from the University of Belgrade, graduating in 1968.     Career and Contributions

    Slavinski’s career was marked by a relentless pursuit of knowledge and understanding. In 1976, he founded the Psychotronics Society in Belgrade, which became a hub for exploring the intersections of psychology and spirituality. His first book, “The Psychic Training of Yogis,” published in 1970, set the stage for a prolific writing career that would include over 30 books by the time of his death in 2022.

    One of Slavinski’s notable contributions was the development of numerous therapeutic systems and methods. His work encompassed a wide range of spiritual teachings, including Hinduism, Buddhism, and Kabbalah, which he seamlessly integrated with modern psychological practices.

    Religions in dialogue: Transformations, Diversity, and Materiality

    In contemporary times, religion is undergoing critical change as part of processes of individualization, deinstitutionalization, and mediatization. The “classical” elements of religion, such as beliefs and rituals, are increasingly differentiated from one another, and the mobilization of religious identities takes different shapes in the global context. The responses of people’s religious, spiritual and nonreligious lives to these changes are broader, more complex, and more rapid than those of religious organizations. The transformation of people´s diverse worldviews also intersects with global challenges occurring in ecology, health, inequality, and diversity. These developments have resulted in a scholarly need to move away from simple, binary Northern/Western perspectives towards a more decentered scholarship. This is SISR/ISSR´s first conference in Asia and we welcome scholars who study the complex interrelations and dialogue of religious, spiritual and nonreligious worldviews, materiality, aesthetics, and diversity in light of global changes.

    Nemanja Radulović is Professor of Serbian Literature and South Slavic Literatures at the University of Belgrade. For many years, a sustained focus of his research has been the history of esotericism and biographies of personalities involved in secret societies in Yugoslavia. Nemanja Radulović is the author of many articles on these topics. In addition, he was the host of the second CEENASWE Conference on Esotericism, Literature, and Culture in Central and Eastern Europe in Belgrade in 2016. Radulović was also co-editor with Polish researcher Dr Karolina Maria Hess of the collected volume Studies on Western Esotericism in Central and Eastern Europe (2019)
